The township of Waipu is 10 mins drive North, and has shops, schools, medical clinic, museums, restaurants and bars, including the legendary McLeod’s Pizza Barn. The township of Mangawhai Heads is 15 mins drive to the South, with similar facilities, and both towns have excellent golf courses and sports centres.
